Learn About Monahan Masonry
Monahan Masonry is a second-generation business owned and operated by Tim and Ryan Monahan, based in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Our sole focus is the careful restoration of residential and commercial masonry, including chimney repair. We proudly serve our local community: Ozaukee County and Milwaukee’s North Shore.
By design, we operate with a small, dedicated crew. This keeps us deeply engaged in every job, fosters open and straightforward communication with clients, and ensures meticulous oversight from start to finish.
Leadership
Our team approaches every project with a commitment to quality and safety. We take the time necessary to complete work with high standards, never compromising thoroughness for speed. This measured pace, rooted in experience, continual training, and respect for the craft, has defined our work across two generations.

Our History
Established in 1995, Monahan Masonry has dedicated more than thirty years to chimney and masonry work right here in our local community. We thoroughly enjoy the meticulous nature of the work, finding real reward in its detailed and thoughtful process.
Roots in the Trade
Tim Monahan began his masonry career as a member of the Milwaukee Bricklayers Union. There, he honed his skills, mastered industry standards, and developed a deep commitment to quality craftsmanship. Over the years, Tim progressed to managing multiple large-scale projects, building a reputation for precision and reliability.
Company Founded
After more than a decade in the Milwaukee Bricklayers Union, Tim founded Monahan Masonry in 1995. Precise workmanship and attention to detail built a steady reputation, allowing the business to grow for decades through word-of-mouth referrals alone.
Father-Son Partnership
Ryan Monahan grew up immersed in the family trade. After a six-year enlistment in the United States Air Force, he returned to Monahan Masonry full-time in 2016, bringing a commitment to excellence and fresh perspective to partner with his father’s decades of expertise.
Moving Forward
Today, Monahan Masonry continues to grow and evolve under the leadership of Tim and Ryan. We remain dedicated to assisting property owners with masonry restoration, delivering quality customer experiences, and upholding high standards of craftsmanship. With a strong foundation built on integrity and skill, we look forward to continued growth and serving our community.
